Meet the Author
C.J. Astrea is a long-haul trucker, independent author, and lifelong builder of worlds. They spent years creating characters, magic systems, and entire civilizations in their head before finally realizing they could put them on the page and invite other people inside.
They are the author of the Celestial Twins series and The Blacksmith’s Son, writing progression fantasy and LitRPG about hard-earned power, survival, trauma, and the families people choose along the way. They love detailed systems, character evolution, expansive worlds, and victories that leave their mark.
At conventions, C.J. is usually easy to find: look for the Hawaiian shirt and the straw cowboy hat their grandfather gave them. They also design much of their own merchandise and will happily talk about fantasy, character builds, or worldbuilding for far longer than anyone intended.
Their most important rule remains simple: Soup is sacred. Nobody dies during soup.
